It’s a new dawn and a new day with this that will see professional boxing and all of sport changed forever. There is no turning back or going back now.
Only advancing and moving forward in continued rapid, aggressive expansion for the sport worldwide.
Alas, professional boxing is coming into a strong success and triumphant time and is booming worldwide.
Boxing is simply undefeatable and unvanquishable and is now returning to its rightful place to near the top of the pantheon of all sport.
The East has been pivotal to this but as the East and West gets closer in boxing and professional sport, the end of pay per view in boxing is now at hand.
Saudi adviser and organizer Turki Alalshikh as well as the CEO and owner of DAZN have met up to discuss what will happen for professional boxing and all of sport worldwide next up:
“Great meeting with my brother Shay, CEO of DAZN. We have big vision to grow boxing and decide: No More Pay-Per-View. Starting with our @ringmagazine show in November, all Riyadh Season & The Ring events will be free to DAZN subscribers. The PPV model has damaged boxing, and we will no longer support it. We are with the fight fans.”
And just like that, the East has become more powerful than the West now literally over night. So long West.
The East is now the new West. It is on now.
That is the end of pay per view in boxing and sport then.
The UFC would back up the above as well.
As not only the UFC but all of professional sport has been moving away gradually from pay per view as time went on.
Particularly lately.
You might see a few pay per views here and there but that’s it for pay per view now in the big picture.
Everything is online now.
Boxing must continue to make great fights like this weekend to drive everything content and technology wise in the time ahead.
It is all about the fights.
