Canelo Coach Reacts To Steroids Claims

Canelo coach Eddy Reynoso has had a lot of flack lately from various quarters in boxing following some adverse findings.

Adverse findings on doping tests for some of the fighters he trains in recent years.

The latest being Jaime Munguia have an adverse findings in his A and B sample following his recent rematch win over Bruno Surace.

Nothing has been confirmed yet though and the issue is still pending by all accounts.

That said, Eddy Reynoso who is best known for training boxing star Canelo Alvarez, has now spoken on how some have wrongly tied his name to steroids and doping tests of some of the fighters he has trained in recent years.

Speaking to ESPN Knockout Reynoso said moving forward he will only work with fighters full time if he has 100 per cent over sight of his boxers’ nutrition.

So as to be able to see what his fighters are eating and what supplements they maybe taking before fights or out of training.

That appears to be a very wise response.

At the end of the day, Mexico’s Eddy Reynoso is one of the best boxing trainers in the world and all his results over the last decade speak for themselves.
