Pacquiao Looks Back On Pro Debut Ahead Of Comeback And Challenging For Title At 46

July 19th will see Manny Pacquiao look to do something he has been doing his whole life – making the impossible possible – and winning.

If you cut Manny Pacquiao open to his core you will see who he really is without a mask or anything left other than his soul.

And that’s two simple things, and truth’s about him.

A fighter and a winner.

Speaking to Premier Boxing Champions’ ‘The Gloves Are Off’ ahead of July 19th’s super fight with Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title Pacquiao looked back at the start of his pro journey:

“That’s my professional debut. 1995, my first time when I was young. Back then until now, the journey hasn’t been easy. I experienced a lot of hardship in life. When I started, I was poor; we had nothing, and nobody supported me, but I always bring surprises since the beginning.”

It is had to think he’s been fighting as a professional boxer now for three decades.

Think about that, and he, as an eight-division world champion, comes into the fight now as a Hall of Famer – a living legend at 46.
