Terence Crawford On Why There'S Shockingly No Rehydration Clause For Canelo Fight

Crawford is stepping up to super-middleweight (168lbs.) for the first time so you would have thought he’d have insisted on this clause.

Most big name fighters do when stepping up in weight like Crawford is, to try to level the playing field.

Alvarez has been at the weight for a while, and higher even, Crawford has never been close to it even remotely.

Crawford is letting Alvarez putting on as much weight as he wants though after the weigh-in.

In theory Canelo could outweigh Crawford by nearly 30 pounds on fight night if he wants.

Crawford said at the presser at the weekend:

“I always say, why not? All the greats do things people think are impossible. I have the confidence, skills, and tools to beat Canelo, so why not?”

Fearless from Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford.

He believes in himself and his ability and is looking to back himself.

Like all great professional athletes do.

What a match up for boxing.
