Pound for pound kingpin Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford grew up in a tough place in America and had some fights in his younger days as well.
Before he found boxing and then later on in life, became one of the great professional boxers of the last twenty years or so.
Terence Crawford On Getting Kicked Out Of 5 Schools
Speaking to Piers Morgan ahead of his next fight ‘Bud’ said of growing up and getting kicked out of five schools as a kid:
“I had a bad temper and always wanted to fight when someone disrespected me. Growing up, kids teased me about my clothes, shoes, or skin color. I didn’t have quick comebacks, so I used my fists. That’s how I got noticed—people learned to leave me alone because I’d fight back.”
Crawford has come a long way and well deserved, he will now fight in boxing’s biggest fight in some time on September 13th.
