Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is gunning for sweet revenge for Mike Tyson in his fight with Jake Paul this month and is clearly up for the fight.
That’s a good thing of course. That’s what professional boxers are meant to do.
Chavez Jr Has Some Brutal Things To Say To Jake Paul
Speaking to Fight Hub, Chavez Jr said of Jake Paul:
“No, I want to smash his face. So, no, what happened is, uh, I think it’s tough. He’s a good guy, trains hard, but still, uh, I need to box him, pressure him, you know, maybe put him in the later rounds, you know, and work the body.”
Paul will be looking to smash his face too but Chavez Jr is the guy with the pedigree in the fight as a former world champion.
Chavez seems to genuinely be interested in training at the moment which is a great thing to see.
He had a lot of ability when he was world champion and at 39 if he shows determination this month in the final bit of training camp, it will be interesting.
Jake Paul is in the most dangerous fight of his life on June 27th and Paul is a bit heavy at the moment – he needs to focus in ahead of fight night.
