Eddie Hearn Honest On Jake Paul vs Chavez Jr After Moving On From $100 Million Lawsuit

Eddie Hearn Honest On Jake Paul Vs Chavez Jr

Eddie Hearn’s company had a lawsuit for $100 million at one point against boxing promoter and pro boxer Jake Paul not long ago.

By all accounts that has been dropped now or at least moved on from, nothing was really mentioned other than there was some sort of settlement, Paul might not have had to pay anything mind you, which is probably what happened.

Anyway, Jake Paul’s MVP Promotions has done well except for the signing of one idiot basically. Jake Paul is here to stay in boxing as a promoter, but he will get chinned violently at some point, or bust up badly, rest assured.

Speaking to the Stomping Ground podcast, Hearn said of Paul’s upcoming fight with Chavez Jr this month in his next pro boxing bout:

“I think, look, whenever Jake Paul—I get, listen, we’ve had our beef, and I kind of—that’s settled for now. Um, I think when Jake Paul gets beat, it will be a moment for boxing, but he’s smart, and unless the money’s crazy, which it’s not for this fight, he will take very calculated small risks. And therefore the fact that he’s chose Chavez would lead you to believe he will win the fight. But I don’t think Chavez is out of the fight.”

Paul of course is smart in how he is navigating some of these fights, very calculated without question.

Many in boxing are taking note of Paul all the time.

He takes on Chavez this month on June 28th in a big weekend of boxing with Deontay Wilder boxing the night before.
