Tim Tszyu is a warrior in today’s times of professional boxing but as a kid certain fights got him hooked on boxing long before today.
He takes on Sebastian Fundora in a rematch on July 19th on a huge night for the entire sport worldwide.
Speaking to Fox Sports Australia in a press conference, Tim Tszyu said:
“My primary objective is to win, preferably in a dominant fashion, but also to deliver the fight fans crave. As a kid, I dreamed of watching epic fights like Castillo-Corrales, Pacquiao-Morales, and I intend to create a memorable moment that fans will recall in 10 or 15 years—something kids will replay. This fight, on such a grand stage, is the night to make that happen.”
His opponent Fundora also comes across equally as focused.
You could say Tszyu may have the edge in motivation for the rematch after losing the first fight by close split decision in 2024.
That said, that may not be the case too, Fundora seems well up for the rematch.
Expect a war in the boxing ring.
