Robert Garcia Gives His Take On Pacquiao Vs Barrios

Respected trainer Robert Garcia knows the fight game probably as good as anyone in America or Mexico so his words carry a lot of weight.

He has trained many great fighters and champions but he thinks boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is biting off too much at 46 on July 19th against Mario Barrios.

Speaking to Fight Hub, respected trainer Robert Garcia said:

“Man, look, Pacquiao is a legend. He’s a legend. You know, everybody—myself, Mexicans, people in general—love him because he’s such a great person. He helps a lot, and everything he does is to help people out. I know so many stories of people he’s helped and things he’s done in his country. You can’t help but like him and wish him well. But at 46, it’s just too hard.”

Pacquiao will challenge for Mario Barios’ WBC welterweight title.

Should Pacquiao pull off one of the biggest upsets in boxing history, he would become the second oldest world champion in history.
