The great Lomachenko has retired from the sport of boxing that has left the sport missing one of its true great boxers of the last twenty years or so.
You look at his career though, seriously, he beat the great Guillermo Rigondeaux when no one even wanted to fight him – he battered him and stopped him no less.
He then finished his career on a young gun world champion in George Kambosos not long ago, another battering and stoppage, again, not just winning, dismantling world champion after world champion.
Boxing Fans On Lomachenko Retiring
After his retiring this week here’s some of the feedback from boxing fans:

What he achieved in boxing as an amateur and pro is maybe unrivaled for his era in terms of the lighter weight divisions.
Just a very hard to beat boxer when he was motivated and on form.
Without doubt a future hall of fame boxer, in the future, which is not easy to get into even for great fighters as well.
That’s how special a fighter Lomachenko is, fighters around the world have been taking notice of Lomachenko’s retirement from boxing.
His final total record in boxing reads:
Professional: 21W 3L Amateur: 396W 1L.
Good luck in whatever is next, which of course will be successful as always.
