Artur Beterbiev has had an official, large, major sports complex actually opened up and named after him the 175 pounder confirmed.

Beterbiev shared the news on Instagram as follows:

“Friends, today in my native Chechen Republic, a universal sports complex was solemnly opened. I was immensely pleased to learn that my dear BROTHER, the Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov, suggested to name the complex in my honor. For me, this is a complete surprise and a great honor! It is difficult to find words that can fully express my gratitude to Ramzan Akhmatovich! He always appreciates my humble merits in sports! Of course, this is an exciting moment for me, because I realize how many young people will be honing their skills within the walls of the complex! And to have at least something to do with it and to be able to touch their story is a great gift for me! Friends, today a universal sports complex was opened in Chechen Republic. I was immensely happy to learn that my dear BROTHER, Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov suggested naming the complex in my honor. For me, this is a complete surprise and a great honor! It is difficult to find words that could fully express my gratitude to Ramzan Akhmatovich! He always highly appreciates my modest achievements in sports!
