Mike Tyson was back in New York recently in an analyst capacity on the boxing at Times Square that featured some big names in the sport.
The action in the two main fights was not everyone’s cup of tea, although Teofimo Lopez did show some good boxing in his fight.
The punch output was low across the board, though. That said, Tyson posted the following on Instagram and said below:
“Great fights and an epic fight night in @timessquarenyc”
Hopefully though the next time title fight boxing comes to Times Square there will be more activity and punch output from main event fighters.
Not every fight, or any sport event for that matter, is going to be a home run.
But in general, boxing is producing as much brilliance week in week out as any sport in the world at the moment.
