Naoya Inoue was involved in one of the great fights of 2025 so far tonight in Las Vegas where he was stopped and got up to win by TKO.
A heck of a fight with Ramon Cardenas and heck of a win for ‘The Monster’ Inoue.
After the fight, at the official post-fight press conference a short time ago, he was asked about a fight with fellow world champion from Japan, Junto Nakatani, to which he replied:
“Maybe next May, next year, 2026.”
Inoue is due to fight again this year at least once, maybe twice more.
It is highly likely he will box again in Japan this year.
For now though, what a fight and what a stoppage by Inoue tonight.
