Teofimo Lopez recorded a win over Arnold Barboza Jr at the iconic Times Square in New York in what was a good weekend for Latino boxers.

Lopez won a clear UD points win over Barboza Jr and boxed very well throughout, the result never in doubt.

Speaking after the fight Lopez posted the above photo on social media with him and Rolly Romero, who beat Ryan Garcia on the same night, saying:

“The new faces of boxing!”

Two new stars in the sport, that is correct.

Lopez continues to make all round improvements both to his fight game, character and mental strength fight to fight.

Romero has made huge strides in his technical fight game and level of focus and discipline, clearly, shocking many with his Garcia victory.
