Devin Haney’s father Bill Haney put the boot in on his son’s rival Ryan Garcia straight after his crushing defeat to Rolly Romero at Times Square.
The brutal nature of the fight game often causes such occurences, alas.
Without feeling or emotion, Haney Sr was seen laughing in a live interview straight after Garcia’s defeat to Romero.
On the X platform, Bill Haney’s reaction was brutal, saying:
“Congratulations to Devin, Rollie, and Teo for an iconic night of boxing 3-0. Meanwhile, in other news Oscar? 0-3. I’m still extremely puzzled how Ryan hasn’t fired De La Hoya for putting him in the ring (NO PEDs) clean against Rollie.”
The rematch with Devin Haney can still happen, surely, even after Garcia’s shock defeat.
That’s up to the boxers though, still a big fight.
A much bigger fight than the first one last year as well, much bigger fight to say the least.
