This weekend sees Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr fight in a huge stadium fight in the UK but there’s something up a bit ahead of it.
Chris Eubank senior the once rival of Nigel Benn, both boxers’ this weekend’s fathers, says he won’t be there.
He says he won’t support the fight or his son for egging Conor Benn and thinks his son has too much weight and size advantage making the fight dangerous for Conor Benn.
Even though there’s a weight rehydration clause that stops Eubank Jr putting on too much weight.
Nigel Benn however says he would like to see Eubank senior there this weekend, or at some point this week on fight week, despite the beef.
Is he right?
We think he is.
Hopefully Eubank senior will have a change of mind and turn up to the fight or at some point to the event.
