Saudi adviser and organizer Turki Alalshikh’s contributions to boxing and professional sports have been above reproach in 2024 to say the least.
What he has achieved has been quite good.
Both he and the Saudis have done well and now the WBC have honored him as boxing’s ‘Man of the Year’ as he said on X:
“A special night surrounded by legends and friends at the annual convention of the World Boxing Council (WBC)
Honored to receive the Man of the Year award”
Kudos and to the WBC too.
A great year but 2025 and the years ahead will be far more, an another level all together not just for boxing, but many professional sports.
