Speaking in a media scrum after the fight Crawford trainer Bomac said of Crawford’s opponent:
“Yeah it was a chess match. That dude was tough as ****. That ********** was tough. I told everybody that he was going to be tough. He was kind of tricky. Sneaky with that right hand. Bud ate a few of them but he got the win. That’s what matters.”
Indeed.
Crawford showed his toughness himself tonight to ship what he shipped and to be rugged when needed at times.
