Trainer Robert Garcia gives his take on what some think is a soon to be confirmed Pacquiao vs Barrios fight.
It is understood the fight is under negotiations at this time to see a 45-year-old Manny Pacquiao remarkably challenging Mario Barrios for the WBC world title.
As good a Rocky Balboa story it is, the reality is Pacquiao will be much older and it is a difficult task for him.
“Pacquiao is 45, that’s too much man. That’s like me getting in the ring. Of course you are going to do it but you are asking me who’s going to win. I think Barrios is young. He’s hungry. I think he wants to get that win against a legend (Pacquiao).”
If anyone can pull it off surely Pacquiao can.
He would need to turn on the eye of the tiger nearer the time however.
A real focus on what would see him likely as a deserved underdog in the fight.
