Lennox Lewis Reacts To Zhang potentially ending the boxing careers of one of the hardest punching men that ever lived.

Deontay Wilder will always be known for being one of the most heavy hitting punchers that ever walked the face of the Earth.

A precocious puncher.

Unrivalled in this era for power.

But boxing is not just about brute power.

A sport where ability and skill reign triumphant.

Former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis was one of the most all-round accomplished in all skill departments — heavyweight champions of all time.

Speaking after the loss at the weekend to Zhang, Lewis said on X of Wilder:

“Bad habits betray Wilder again… and good showings by Zhang and Dubois. Should be interesting to see how the rest of the HW’s pan out while Fury Usyk rematch plays out.”

Adding:

“The @BronzeBomber told us before the fight that he would retire if he didn’t win. I think that’s a wise decision. He’s more than carved out a life in which he can take care or his daughter, so before he suffers any more damage, it’s best to leave the game with ur faculties intact because there’s a LOT more life to live after boxing.”

Whatever Wilder does next he will be remembered as a great fighter.

One that gave entertainment to the masses.
