Tyson Fury knows about beating Ukrainians in big heavyweight title fights going back to Vladimir Klitschko and let slip something ahead of Usyk.
Fury is a student of the game and knows boxing technically, historically and in all aspects, very well.
Speaking to BoxNation Fury said:
“He is just more (Usyk more than Klitschko) mobile. He’s got better footwork. He’s got better angles. I seen him spar one time and Usyk boxed the head off him (Klitschko). Yeah. When Klitschko was going to do the rematch with me that never happened he was sparring Usyk and he was getting his head jabbed off (by Usyk).”
Usyk has shown he can beat big heavyweights like Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.
Fury is a different kettle of fish however.
He is very focused, relaxed and on point this week.
