It is the big Cinco De Mayo weekend on Saturday and Canelo Alvarez vs Jaime Munguia in Las Vegas is top of the bill.
Some criticism came in for boxing star Alvarez from his former promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, ahead of the fight.
Speaking ahead of this weekend’s big fight at a media scrum Canelo’s response was blunt.
‘I don’t really care. I am so happy. I don’t really care about Oscar. He have **** in his head. I don’t give a **** what he says.’
No beating around the bush from Alvarez, all focus this week.
Alvarez appears to have taken this weekend extremely seriously, and he’ll need to.
His opponent is undefeated in 43 fights and does not know how to lose.
It will be up to Alvarez to change that.
