Probably the stand out professional boxing rising star from Ireland at the moment (that can all change however pending fight results) is Callum Walsh.

Callum Walsh is already 10-0-8 KO as a professional super-welterweight.
The southpaw takes on Carlos Ortiz Cervantes next in Chumash Casino, Santa Ynez, California on June 7th.
As well as already having boxed on UFC Fight Pass at just 23-years-old, he has renowned boxing manager Tom Loeffler managing him (Gennady Golovkin manager).
A team of three very serious individuals in Freddie Roach, Tom Loeffler and Dana White.
If he can take their advise, apply himself, sky’s the limit.
Likely he will flatten many of his opponents but stepping him up at the right time, putting him in real fights at the right time, as well as world level sparring, all key.
Basically if he can keep the doors closed to bad stuff/distractions in his career, simply enjoy boxing and train regularly, fight and spar the best, at the right time, big things in store.
