George Foreman Finds His First Application For A Boxing License

Bureaucracy and bad weather is there anything worse in life.

Each to their own.

Former heavyweight wrecking machine and oldest champion in boxing history George Foreman has uncovered his old application for his first boxing license.

Going through the process of getting his papers back in the day was brought to light by one old-school boxing fan no less:

Quality.

Surely none of those Washington Commissioners around anymore but no doubt would be something good to look into regarding the nation’s capital in its history with boxing soon.

Here is what happened below not long after for Foreman.

When a then 20-year-old Foreman made his professional boxing debut.

On June 23rd 1969 against Don Waldhelm at Madison Square Garden in New York:

Many years later a born-again in Christianity Foreman would become the oldest heavyweight champion of all-time.

At 45-years-old.
