Matchmaker reveals what happened Pacquiao when he first came to America

It has been some journey for Manny ‘Pac Man’ Pacquiao.

From humble beginnings in the Philippines, his knockout fists in the ring only matched by his humility and kindness in giving back outside of it.

Pacquiao didn’t have it easy in the beginning, or, indeed even when he first properly moved to America.

He would go on to link up with major promoter Bob Arum and make it big but believe it or not, he was turned down three times from three different promoters at one point.

A behind the scenes matchmaker revealed the Pacquiao early story when he came to America to EsNews YouTube (hat tip):

Another story in the Pacquiao journey.

One that continues this August against pound for pound welterweight star Errol Spence.

Many believe Pacquiao has taken on too much with the younger, stronger Spence.

Time will tell.

What a fight in store later this summer.
