Former world champion Keith Thurman knows a thing or two about big fights.
This summer’s battle between Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spence in Las Vegas certainly falls into that category.
Spence shared the ring with Pacquiao in 2019 and lost a split decision.
He knows, just how dangerous Pacquiao still is, even at his age.
He seems to think it’s a good match up overall.
Speaking to Fight Hype he said:
“I think he’ll (Spence) be able to do what he needs to do in the fight. But I’m not saying that Pacquiao is out of it.”
He added:
“He’s (Pacquiao) a legend for a reason. I hope he comes with all the gusto like he did in the performance against me.”
Pacquiao and Spence are set to fight later in the summer in August with official announcements expected soon.
