Boxing World Reacts To Gervonta Davis Getting Arrested

Standout American boxing star Gervonta Davis appears to have landed himself in some rather hot water following an incident that allegedly took place between himself and a woman.

A well publicized video online appears to show Davis having a very heated disagreement with a woman.

Now it has emerged that he has been arrested following the incident:

Davis had only just returned to the ring over the past holiday season and notched up another win on his unbeaten resume (23-0-22 KO) against Cuban veteran Yuri Gamboa.

While a big fight with Vasyl Lomachenko was unlikely for him this year, many other standout fights are still being mentioned for ‘Tank’ at the moment.

However, this latest development could temporarily derail his boxing career pending how the charges are dealt with.

Overall, it’s pretty disappointing, given the momentum he had in his boxing career, the win streak he’s built and in particular — the fan base he’s built for himself and the way he’s in the process of becoming a genuine star in the sport.

These type of incidents don’t help that at all.
