Floyd Mayweather Reacts To Conor McGregor Beating Donald Cerrone

Conor McGregor’s return to winning ways on Saturday night has once again brought up the inevitable talks of a boxing return.

Not least because McGregor himself in recent weeks has publicly confirmed his intentions to return to professional boxing and become a world champion in the sport one day.

In the ultra entertainment driven era of professional boxing we now live in a rematch between McGregor and former pound for pound number one Floyd Mayweather could without doubt happen again in the future.

Mayweather won the first fight easily a couple of years back and although he’s retired as an active professional boxer, no doubt he’d take another McGregor pay day if the opportunity arose.

Here’s how Mayweather reacted to McGregor’s win in the UFC over Donald Cerrone this past weekend:

McGregor jokingly pointed to his own company name not being on Mayweather’s poster above at the weekend.

Mayweather has also said he’ll be back this year and is thought to be linking up with the UFC’s Dana White at some point.

So never say never.

McGregor has also been linked with a boxing match against Manny Pacquiao so don’t rule that out either.

Overall, will we see McGregor back in a professional boxing ring one day?

Without doubt.
