Michael Conlan’s Ring Entrance Got People Talking

27-year-old Irishman Michael Conlan continued his unbeaten pro boxing career on Sunday night in New York with a shut out points over Ruben Hernandez as he looks for 2019 to be his break out year.

A rematch with an old Olympic rival or even a Shakur Stevenson fight later this year would go down nicely for fight fans on route to it.

The win on Sunday night improved Conlan’s record to 11-0-6KO as he impressed once again but the story that seems to have come out of it in terms of what people are talking about was his ring entrance which clearly had a passionate Irish atmosphere by the looks of it.

Here’s what Conlan had to say after the fight was over:

No doubt big things await in the coming year or so as he continues to build towards a world title shot, most likely next year at some point.
