Ryan Garcia First Fight Of 2019 Confirmed

Undefeated rising US boxing star Ryan Garcia has now had his first bout of the year formally confirmed.

He will fight Jose Lopez in a lightweight cfight on March 30th at Fantasy Springs in California.

The event will also feature Angel Acosta putting his WBO light-flyweight title against Ganigan Lopez.

Recently Floyd Mayweather told Garcia that if he could beat one of his lesser known fighters in his promotional stable that he would pay him $200,000 and then get him a fight with his star boxer Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis.

Garcia replied that he wants one million dollars for a fight with Davis.

His promoter Oscar De La Hoya played down a possible fight between the two for the time being.

As for Garcia, this is the year that could be a make or break for him in terms of showing if he is as good as his promoter Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions and many others think he is after years of career building to this point.

A challenge for a world title or a big fight is needed before the end of the year at this point to establish how good Ryan is really.

Currently 20 year old Ryan Garcia holds a professional boxing record of 17-0-14KO.
