Anthony Joshua has come in for some perhaps overly critical heat from fans online in the last week or so.
Flack that stems from him not fighting a big fight next up, scrapping his Wembley April 13th date in the UK after promising to keep his fights in the UK last year and in general — taking on a relatively straight forward opponent in Jarrell Miller next up.
But it’s not his fault. It’s the politics of boxing.
Yes, his credibility is taking a nose dive at the moment as Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder look set to rematch in a far more interesting fight to the public next up but like we’ve said time and time again on here before, make no mistake about it, Joshua’s not ducking anyone.
It’s his team who have messed up for him in terms of not getting him a big fight next to be fair.
