Juan Diaz On How He Would Have Done Against A Prime Manny Pacquiao

Former world champion Juan ‘Baby Bull’ Diaz put together an impressive seven fight win streak since his last loss in 2010 all the way back against fellow Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez.

He hasn’t fought since 2016 though and it’s unclear if he will again.

The super-lightweight world champion had been fighting in largely low keys fights compared to those in his hey day but without doubt he was an entertaining world champion back in his prime.

Speaking to DAZN he recalls one big fight in fact against a certain Manny Pacquiao that almost happened a few years ago and how he thinks he would have fared:

Pacquiao recently won a unanimous points decision against Adrien Broner in Las Vegas.

At this time Diaz is still waiting to confirm an opponent for 2019.

Currently age 35 Diaz’ professional boxing record reads 42-4-21KO.
