Manny Pacquiao Makes Joke About Age

Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao this past weekend recorded his latest victory in the ring in the form of a unanimous points decision over Adrien Broner at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

But outside of the nice chunk of cash he deserved and earned for his efforts, the plaudits he got and the retaining of his WBA welterweight title — perhaps there was another victory for Pacquiao too in a way.

Senator Pacquiao, now a 40 year old civil servant as well as an apex prize fighter showed that while we inevitably all get older in life that age really is just a number at the end of the day.

Here’s what he’s had to say on Twitter on the subject following the fight when making a comparison to a certain Tom Brady in the NFL:

As for Pacquiao it won’t be long before he’s 41 himself but it will be interesting to see what happens next or if the much speculated rematch with Floyd Mayweather does in fact happen next up.

Either way, the Filipino boxer showed he has plenty left in the tank just yet.

One would imagine that moves to make the rematch with Floyd Mayweather will be made at some point this year though.
