Billy Joe Saunders Gives Pacquiao vs Broner Prediction

The boxing world’s attention turns to tonight’s big fight in Vegas between Manny Pacquiao and Adrien Broner.

Two guys about as different as you could come across in professional boxing and two fighters who fight very different in the ring too.

Coming into the fight Broner and his trainer Kevin Cunningham have said over and over again that they are not worried about the high amount of punches Pacquiao throws.

They are confident that Broner will be able to throw the right punches at the right time to offset the southpaw typhoon of Pacquiao.

Some have expressed concerns that a 40 year old Pacquiao could get old old night tonight and former WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders has said as much.

Although he’s clearly still routing for PacMan:

Pacquiao didn’t look old last time out last year against Lucas Matthysse mind you.

A fight where he stopped the big puncher from Argentina inside the distance and one that wasn’t exactly very long ago.

It was Senator Pacquiao’s first stoppage win in over nine years in fact.

Pacquiao has also been training a lot smarter to account for his age coming into this fight with less sparring rounds done than in over a decade.

Couple this with Broner training harder than he has done in recent years — we should have a heck of a battle tonight at the MGM Grand in Sin City.
