Freddie Roach's Reaction To Watching Mayweather vs Tenshin Was Gold

Hall of Fame boxing trainer Freddie Roach returns to the corner of his long time most successful pupil Manny Pacquiao next week in the capacity of an adviser as well as coach in the build-up to the fight with Adrien Broner.

Roach has trained more world champions than most in the history of boxing and his offensive coaching style has produced some of the most explosive fighters in history.

The fact Freddie is a man of such high esteem in the sweet science, you can’t really blame him for this reaction with Marcos Villegas of Fight Hub YouTube (hat tip) to watching the recent Mayweather vs Tenshin boxing exhibition in Tokyo for the first time:

“It was fishy.”

Followed by:

“I’ve never seen Mayweather so offensive, he’s letting his hands go at least.”

No doubt a couple of lines that will make many a boxing fan chuckle.

Mayweather is now linked with a legitimate boxing match and rematch against Pacquiao later in the year should ‘PacMan’ come through Adrien Broner on January 19th at the MGM in Las Vegas.
