Pacquiao Chief Sparring Partner Has An Ominous Waring For Broner

Manny Pacquiao might now be 40 years of age but last year he showed he was able to roll back the clocks a bit against Lucas Matthysse with his first stoppage win in over nine years.

Obviously his upcoming fight with Adrien Broner on January 19th in Vegas is a step up from that.

Broner is a four-weight world champion who has his desire back for the sport of boxing in fairness.

Speaking to EsNews George Kambosos Jr, Pacquiao’s chief sparring partner for the Broner fight camp said expect to see the best Pacquiao turn up however:

“We’re ready to fight. Everyone’s happy. No stone has been left un-turned.”

He added:

“The man’s a champion. A legend. I’m very privileged to be a part of this. This has been a great camp. He’s really firing. I really feel like we’re going to see a vintage Pacquiao but Broner is going to come in ready too.”

On how difficult Pacquiao is to deal with in sparring he said:

“When he’s in his rhythm he’ll hit you from different angles but the man is animal! 40 years old?!”

Pacquiao vs Broner will be shown on Showtime pay per view and on ITV 4 in the UK.
