Mikey Garcia Reacts To Broner's Legal Problems Right Before Pacquiao Fight

Reports on TMZ in recent days allege that boxer Adrien Broner faces new legal woes right ahead of his upcoming fight on January 19th with Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

That said, everything seems to be business as usual as per Broner, Showtime and Premier Boxing Champions’ social media accounts’ perspective.

They have not commented on the matter at this time so one would imagine it will not jeopardize the fight taking place.

Speaking to Fight Hype, pound for pound star Mikey Garcia thinks it could affect Broner regardless:

“It’s not helping (him) that’s for sure. It’s only creating problems, stress. It could definitely take you off your game plan to where you are not getting enough rest and focusing on the fight.

Now you’re not just worried about Manny Pacquiao, his combinations, his speed, his power,

his footwork, now you got to worry about the f****** law.”

He added:

“I think Manny has the speed and combinations to edge Broner. I don’t think Manny knocks him out but I think he beats him over twelve rounds.”

Garcia himself takes on Errol Spence next up so no doubt will have a keen eye on Pacquiao vs Broner as potential future opponents later in the year.
