Floyd Mayweather Reacts To Amir Khan Criticising His Upcoming Exhibition Bout

Floyd Mayweather Slams Amir Khan For Criticising His Upcoming Exhibition Bout

Floyd Mayweather has confirmed that he will face Japanese kick boxer
Tenshin Nasukawa in a three round boxing exhibition on December 31st.

As of yet there is no word regarding US or global broadcasting rights but it is understood that there will be no judges and the bout will not be going on Mayweather’s boxing record.

Amir Khan was one of many well known boxers who criticised the move and believes it tarnishes the sport of boxing.

Speaking in reply to the sentiment from Khan, Floyd Mayweather said:

“These guys are going out there and they fighting getting 2 or 3 million, I don’t know 4 million or 5 million for 12 rounds. I make more than that just for sparring!”

He added:

“Amir Khan when he faced Canelo we seen him comatosed. We all know I was an old man when I faced Canelo. We all know that was easy work, I mean, some of the easiest work I had (laughs).”

Time will tell over the coming weeks what really transpires with this exhibition bout of Floyd’s.

Expect it to be more entertainment more than anything.
