Adrien Broner was his colorful and outspoken self as always in the LA stop of the press tour for his fight with Manny Pacquiao.

The two boxers completed their press tour ahead of January 19th’s fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and now are tasked with getting themselves in fight shape for what is on paper a relatively competitive fight.

Certainly an intriguing one.

If Broner thought he could get into Pacquiao’s head with some of his remarks he’ll have to think again though.

At one point he made reference to making Asian jokes about the Filipino boxer but reacting to this Pacquiao told the press he thought nothing of it:

“Adrien Broner is a funny guy. I think after his career he has another career. A comedian career.”

If it bothered him:

“No. It’s a joke.”

Fair play Manny Pacquiao. Always one to take the high ground.

Tickets for the fight go on sale this coming Saturday at AXS and at any MGM Grand outlet.

The bout will be live on Showtime pay per view.
