Amir Khan and Kell Brook don’t like one another – we all know that. The two have been hammering it out at the negotiating table for sometime now to no avail in a bid to make a fight. Today Brook announced his next opponent on December 8th before hopefully a Khan fight in the new year. Khan has now responded to the announcement.

Both guys like to abuse one another as personally and frequently as possible.

That’s just part of the ruthless nature of the boxing business these days.

Social media is an open war ground for fighters to call one another out and hurl abuse at each other.

In response to Brook’s warm up fight announcement for Khan today, here’s how he responded:

That Tweet was sent by Khan from Pakistan, clearly having fun on his smart phone while abroad.

All is fair in love and war, as they say.

On a serious note though, if the two do not fight one another in the new year it will go down as one of the fights that fans will probably never forgive either man for not having.

Lets hope they can put their differences aside in 2019 and sit down to make a deal for what would be without doubt a UK stadium fight at the least.

Brook takes on Michael Zerafa on December 8th in Sheffield.
