Adrien Broner is already in training camp for an expected January 19th showdown with Manny Pacquiao and he appears to be back taking his boxing career seriously again accordingly.
Broner knows that an impressive win against a big name like Pacquiao could put a line through a lot of the drama he’s experienced outside of the ring in recent years.
He’s up against it though.
Pacquiao also has a lot to fight for, financially at least, with a rematch against Floyd Mayweather awaiting him later in 2019.
A loss to Broner could dampen that prospect for him or even derail it entirely.
Pacquiao comes into the fight as the man in form with a stoppage win over Lucas Matthysse last time out but Broner is knuckling down and looking quick already judging by this:

No date or venue has been formally confirmed as of yet but Las Vegas January 19th appears to be what is front-runner pending Pacquiao sorting out a tax debt with the IRS.
All in all, an interesting fight style wise that should see a lot of speed on display on the night.
