Shakur Stevenson continues to develop in the pro ranks as the Olympic silver medallist put in another top class showing last night on ESPN.
The Top Rank and Bob Arum promoted fighter made waves again as he took out Viorel Simon in the very first round in Omaha fighting on the Terence Crawford undercard to go 9-0.
Here’s how he did it:

A peach perfect right hook to the jaw and that’s all she wrote as they say.
He now moves on to some decent opportunities next and while not at world title level just yet, with performances like that it won’t be long before he is.
Fellow promotional stablemate Mick Conlan has been tabbed as a man who is being built to fight Stevenson at the moment with both fighters still undefeated at this time.
Conlan this year relocated to the UK and started training with respected coach Adam Booth.
If one was a betting man, you’d have to think both Stevenson and Conlan will be challenging either one another or else for titles – sooner rather than later.
