Khabib Breaks Silence After Conor McGregor Post-Fight Brawl

After ugly scenes ensued last night in Las Vegas one of the fighters has now spoken for the first time to the media.

Champion of the UFC Khabib ultimately beat down Conor McGregor last night on route to making him tap out in four rounds but it’s what happened afterwards that is capturing the attention today.

Fists flew on both sides after the fight ended and after Khabib decided to jump the cage and go after a McGregor team member.

He also goaded McGregor seconds after he tapped him out.

Speaking now after last night’s crazy scenes, Khabib said at the post-fight press conference:

“This is not my best side. He talked about my religion, my country, my father. He came to Brooklyn, he broke a bus and nearly killed two people. So why do people still talk about me jumping over the cage? I have shown respect.”

He continued:

“This is a respectful sport. This is not a trash talking sport. I want to change this game. You cannot talk about religions and nations. This for me is very important. Thank you for waiting for me. I know my father is going to smash me when I go home. Nevada, sorry. Vegas, sorry.”

New footage has emerged showing that McGregor did in fact throw a punch at a member of Khabib’s team inside the cage straight after the fight ended.
