The boxing world is still in a state of shock following the early departure of one of its most colorful and innovative sons Enzo Calzaghe last week.
At 69 years of age and always fit as a fiddle, it was very sad and surprising to learn of his passing.
Tributes have poured in from all corners of the fight sphere since, admiring both Enzo’s achievements in the sport but equally his character and contributions to life and family outside of it as a person.

Nothing will ever take away their achievements. Joe Calzaghe in my opinion is the best fighter that Britain ever produced.
A style of boxing perfected and honed with his father from a young age.
Simply put – it proved to be unbeatable.
But aside from the technical excellent of Enzo his man management and ability to put belief into his fighters was perhaps unmatched.
The boxing world continues to pay homage to one of its geniuses this week.
Rest in peace Enzo Calzaghe.
