Mayweather Sr Fires Warning To Pacquiao If He Rematches His Son

Floyd Mayweather senior has commented on if he thinks Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao 2 will happen and what he anticipates happening if it does.

Mayweather senior is now 65 years old but expect him to be in his son’s corner again if Mayweather Jr does in fact return to the ring for this Pacquiao rematch.

Speaking to Fight Hype he said:

“If Floyd said it’s going to happen it’s going to happen.”

He added:

“I don’t know what he’s going to do but I think that would be a good idea too (to have a tune up fight first).”

On what he thinks happens in a rematch

“I can probably tell you the only difference will be he’s (Pacquiao) probably going to get more bumps on his head. That’s about it. That man can’t do nothing man. That was an easy fight for Floyd (the first time.)”

On the two men fighting at their advanced ages, he concluded:

“It may do have a little bit to do with it but these guys still are at the age now where they can still put up a good fight.”

Mayweather is currently 40 years old, Pacquiao 39.

Time will tell if this Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 talk proves to be real.
