Undefeated Floyd Mayweather promoted star boxer Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis has been arrested and it has been caught on tape.
Davis has been in the news a lot recently after airing his public misgivings with his promoter Floyd Mayweather, making it clear he has not been happy with him and even tweeting that Mayweather told him he was broke.
Davis was in the limelight last weekend while in attendance at the Shawn Porter vs Danny Garcia where he and other members of the Premier Boxing Champions stable were seen running around the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Davis at one point slapped a phone out of a fan’s hand who attempted to get a selfie and appeared to be very heavy since his last fight.
It seemed unlikely either way that he would fight before the end of the year given the considerable weight he would need to lose to make his fight weight.
Now, things have gotten worst.
TMZ have reported that he’s been arrested for an alleged fist fight where they allege a dispute between Davis and another person arose over a bill in a bar.
They further allege that Davis was then arrested in the street in Washington D.C. in the early hours of Friday morning local time.
