Pacquiao’s Financial Demands For Khan Fight Could Put The Fight In Jeopardy

Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao is still looking for his next opponent and promoter but a fight with Amir Khan could now be on the rocks.

It’s understandable that Manny Pacquiao isn’t going to come cheap.

He’s an eight weight world champion, one of the most famous boxers in the world and has already been a part of the biggest fight in boxing history financially with Floyd Mayweather back in 2015.

Star Sport have reported that he’s looking for ten million British pounds to fight Amir Khan in the UK this December.

Upon conversion, that works out as just under thirteen million dollars US-based on today’s conversion.

To be honest, that seems about right and in and around what you would think for Pacquiao.

A man who has made much more than that per fight in the past but now at an advanced stage of his career, that amount seems reasonable.

However, it has been reported that the figure could prove to be too much for the fight to happen next up.

If that is the case, expect Khan to take on Kell Brook instead and Pacquiao to fight Mikey Garcia instead.
