GGG Trainer On How He’s Trying To P*** Golovkin Off Ahead Of Canelo Rematch

‘GGG’ trainer Abel Sanchez is going to great lengths to motivate his fighter to get the very best and meanest out of him when he fights Canelo Alvarez for the second time in Las Vegas.

Just two weeks to go now to one of the biggest fights of the year at the T-Mobile Arena where Golovkin and Canelo will throw down for a second time.

A year on from their first battle which although an excellent fight to watch, was marred with judging controversy in its aftermath.

Both men are determined not to leave things in the hands of the judges this time around however.

Golovkin trainer Abel Sanchez has revealed he’s really pushing Golovkin to his limits at the moment:

“I have to make sure he knows how bad he looked, how bad he looked for not knocking him (Canelo) out (in the first fight). I’m going to drive that point home (in training) because I need to p** him off.”

Sanchez later spoke on how Golovkin is morphing into a fighting machine at the moment:

“I can see huge change in him, like the hulk. All of a sudden turning green, ready to destroy what’s in front of him. Boxing gave him that outlet in terms of being able to defend himself in the gym. In turn he was able to defend himself outside the gym (growing up).”

Roll on September 15th – the mother of all fights awaits.
