Roc Nation appear to be making moves in the boxing world once again with a new extension deal confirmed a short time ago with one of China’s best fighters.

China has long been a market that has tried to be cracked by various Western promoters due to it’s sheer size and reach.

Today, Jay Z and Roc Nation have continued their attempt in doing so.

CSI Sports’ 24/7 live sports channel, FIGHT SPORTS, has extended its media rights to Zhang Zhilei – the Undefeated World Ranked Heavyweight, 19-0, 15KOs, WBO Oriental Heavyweight Champion, former Olympic Super Heavyweight Silver Medalist and potential future Heavyweight Champion. 

The long term agreement was reached between CSI Sports (parent of FIGHT SPORTS) and Jaz’s Roc Nation (Zhang Zhilei’s Promoter). 

CSI Sports co-CEOs Richard and Craig Miele added: “We are very pleased to be working with Dino Duva and the rest of the Roc Nation executive team to make Zhang Zhilei a world renowned household name and support his aspiration to become the future Heavyweight World Champion. Through our expanded distribution of our 24/7 linear network, social media growth and digital support, we are confident his exposure will grow exponentially as he rises through the ranks of the Heavyweight division.”
