WBO middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders and rival promoter Eddie Hearn found themselves next to one another on a flight home from the States. The latter made the mistake of falling asleep.

Saunders is fast making a name for himself as somewhat of a prankster in boxing after last week’s chicken throwing at Nandos in Belfast at Deontay Wilder.

This week he was in Boston to promote his fight with Demetrius Andrade on October 20th at the TD Arena in Boston.

It will be the second live event in the US that new streaming platform DAZN will be putting on with promoter Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Sport.

Saunders is currently signed to rival promoter Frank Warren but the fight was made in the end after what was an offer too good to refuse by DAZN.

Caught him with a good one there, no doubt about it.

That’s certainly one way to get at a rival promoter.
